| | LlamaLAN XIII to the face | | | |
So the Ninjas took on the Pirates and vanquished them! But did anyone truly win? Of course not, the world is coming down around our ears! Our only hope of survival is to face the apocalypse head-on - at LlamaLAN XIII!
As always, the last event saw many of our clan buddies taking part (and having a hand in running the thing) and the next one is likely to follow suite. Get over to the LlamaLAN website, sign up, pay early and choose your own seat!

| | New people and New League | | | | Listen up ladies! A number of new chaps have arrived since our last public update - Reidsan, TheBrook and CrashFailure have entered our ranks. Not only are these guys enthusiastic clan members, but TheBrook has been awarded the distinguished 'Clan Backbone' medal for signing up to 85% of events since his arrival. His willingness to hurl himself between our caps and oncoming rockets is an example for us all!
We've already begun on the Wireplay 7v7 league, but please note when these games are taking place and get involved as much as possible. Numbers are a tad slight right now, so if your presence is at all possible, please make it so!
We've received a number of applications to join FTD. Keep an eye on the 'Recruiting' forum board for any new faces. - by Golem on Monday 1st 2009f June 2009 (13:32:02)

LlamaLAN XI was an awesome event featuring outlandish costumes and stage performances! Whoo! So what's to come in the future of LlamaLAN? Event Number Twelve of course, where we find the llamas of the East and the High Seas battle it out over twelve mystical Golden Llamas. Won through playing LAN tournaments, of course. Get over there, sign up, choose your side, and prepare for the ultimate showdown!

| | Turn it up to LlamaLAN XI! | | | | Some of you may well know of our extra-clan activities in the LAN department. A handful of you have even attended!
LlamaLAN XI is now confirmed, subject to sufficient payments before the cut-off date. In line with our plans to continuously evolve LlamaLAN, we've got big plans for this event (as always). Not been before and are not sure what to expect? Have a look at LlamaLAN X's gallery for some insight. You may spot one or two dummies!
Or, ask in the LlamaLAN forums. Or, just sign up and turn up and find out first-hand!

| | | Our matches in Wireplay's fourth season of the 7v7 league are all done! FTD are remarkable if for nothing else but playing all matches on time - thanks in no small part to your attendance and Roundup's eager and frantic war-arranging efforts. FTD are currently THIRD, but let's not get too excited until all other matches in division 2 are played or defaulted.
The 6v6 continues, seeing matches on Wednesdays and, more often towards its conclusion, Sundays. Dummies, make an effort to arrive for Sunday games an hour in advance as it will be advantageous to have a little practice and warmup before hand. This always proves itself very useful and a lot of fun.
Note too Rebel-Zero's climbing of our duel ladder. Amidst hilarious zero-gravity ragdolls and gibs, he struck off four SGs from his list of challenges and will be mixing it up with the BIG BOYS very soon!
Finally, FTD have signed up for the United Kingdom eSports Association (UKeSA) TF2 Open Tournament hosted on Enemy Down! Sounds impressive to say if nothing else! There's quite a lot of support for this competition so we anticipate lots of new clans to face and play target practice for!
Note that this is primarily for UK based clans - another advantage in terms of servers, pings etc. With lots of interest, this COULD become a Championship, where prizes likely. Championships emerge based on popularity - see signups for each game tournament (and hence popularity) here.
