Righty, on the cusp of the tshirt ordering deadline, I have a question aimed for towards CD...

Cyberdrac! If you had the option, which of these two versions of Che Guellama's face would you wear?
As the order size is likely to be... one ... they won't do this with screen printing, instead using the vinyl print method (more like LlamaLAN 9's shirts than LlamaLAN 12's). but I don't know for sure! Will let you know

Having played with this on their site... I think without white looks best! This will actually use their DIGITAL PRINTING method, which is a bit more costly than vinyl or screen prints as it uses more ink... screen printing is definitely superior but on orders less than 6 they won't do screen prints as they need to produce the plates, a cost they can't justify.

EDIT 2: Oh and they'll embroider but only on a minimum order of 6 items (items can vary but ofc must use the same embroidery design)... so if ppl want to refresh their fleeces or get new polos we'll have to collect together an order of at least 6.

I'm afraid that I must disagree whole heartedly, the white background really makes it pop out at you in a manner befitting a design of the awesomeness, the two tone just doesn't quite give the contrast it needs. I've never seen a product involving the digital printing method, I'm presuming that it is more advanced than the iron on transfer printed design we used many moons ago? Printing technology has come on a long way I'm sure and if you go to one of the high street stores looking at cool and chic designs (David and Goliath et al.) you would pay just as much ... and ordering something equally cool from ThinkGeek or the Valve store would cost that in postage alone.

Understandable about the embroidery, the urgency is gone now that I have found my fleece again, maybe see if there is any interest for next time around.

Any figures on the total number of shirts orders so that I can decide whether I need to order two or three?

edit: looking in closer detail, the white design is three plus the background red not two, and the grey accents add something to the face which is lacking in the black on background red

Yep, if they deliver on time they are usually there to collect on the first day of the LAN to add to your LAN wardrobe for the weekend

I mean, it is possible, but you'd have to pay a helluva lot more individually! To avoid that I could talk to the supplier direct, but it's faffing about I don't have time for atm
