You know, it's not just exclusively TF2 players vs exclusively COD4 players here. Many of us actually have both games in their collection! ;)

Right, after careful deliberation your friendly LL admins have reached a decision.

Based on the amount of feeling towards (and against) both TF2 and COD4, we have decided that the main big game for the 4 teams will be...

UT2K4 - Onslaught.

I will also be setting up some smaller "organised" games for COD4 and TF2, assuming that there are enough people interested in playing them. These will be 4v4 minimum team size, and will not be restricted to the Red/Blue/Green/Yellow team options, so will allow people to make up teams across the venue.

This is another reason why an Unreal 2K4 team mode game would do the business - it's not a game we all spend half our lives playing so should be a bit more even on the field. ;)

The UT2K4 Onslaught mode promises to be quite a different experience. :D This is for the four teams Yellow, Red, Blue and Green as the main event's BIG GAME.

The organised tournies for COD4 and TF2 will be held at specific times. These are not pitting the BIG TEAMS against eachother - instead, these tournaments will allow players to form smaller teams amongst themselves and sign up to each tournament using this site's clan facilities. Whoever will be taking part in these games will want to join a clan with a minimum of 4 players, probably no more than 6 to make the most of it. Look to the news / email / forum for more detailed information very soon. ;)

Don't assume too much Mr D3TH! :D

It certainly will not be a bum. The onslaught game mode needs good teamwork for a side to win and we predict it'll just be good fun! Notice to ensure we've covered all three top games nicely, we're organising the clan events in TF2 and COD4 so you all get what you want. The bonus of having tournies for smaller clans(teams) which everyone can organise themselves into is that you get to play with your buddies no matter where they're sitting in the hall.

So, everyone - quit yer moaning. ;)

Thanks for the link D3th, that will come in very handy for anyone who still doesn't have the unreal anthology. It's brilliant value!
