Two weeks to go!

Post by Golem »

I'm really hoping we can squeeze in a Trackmania session somewhere. LANs are perfect for the quick easy-jump-in games that we do not ordinarily play across the net (e.g. the classic Armagetron!) :D

How will the tournament software be used this time round?

TM:N is better for tourneys imo. Easier to run a match on their server stuff! :)

TM:N has skanky StarForce in it though =/

Cool game, just don't like infecting my PC with StarForce.

Urgh, after looking up the boycott list on glop.org ALL the Trackmania games have Starforce. Well it didn't seem to cause me any probs before... but never mind, Armagetron is good enough for me. ;)

Trackmania Nations doesn't use StarForce, it simply updates any installation of StarForce it finds to the latest version, so if you've installed another StarForce protected game then it will simply be brought up to date which is probably just as bad in some peoples' eyes, but it means that you've already installed other StarForce games.
