Transport request from EvilWarlock

Post by EvilWarlock »

Hello People....

I maybe in need of some transport on the 1st of April, My work van is needed for work stuff on that day by my driver PAH!!! a work van being used for work, Anyway....

If anyone is traveling around the Shepherdswell area (Near Dover) and can give me a lift upto Llamalan that would be great, petrol money would be VERY readily available.

Alternatively if anyone could be kind enough to give me a lift from Chatham Railway station on Friday 1st April at 13:30 or 14:30 that would be great too.

Cheers in advance.

EDIT:
I am now definately in need of a lift so any offers would be greatfully recieved.

Nice ... wish we had one too ... would make shifting the gear around much easier ... especially the 16 to 20 bags of rubbish we end up with at the end of an event.

I was just talking to fatman.

if you want an extra car at your disposal (its a KA but its suprising the amount of stuff we can cram into one) :D / some extra hands to set up.

it would be no probs for us seeing as were in medway anyway. :)

Thank you for your kind offer ... we may well take you up on that ... if nothing else we have a load of rubbish bags that would be good to spread around a couple of houses so that it's easier to be picked up by the council. You may also be able to help moving some of the smaller items so that the larger cars, i.e. KF and mine be used for the bulkier stuff.

We'll be in touch

Thanks again

Can't the rubbish be taken to local tip? Garbage can be taken to the site in Sittingbourne easily enough, just turn up and dump. Failing a similar option fo rmedway, can always travel for 15 mins to sittingbourne tip and dump there, save hoarding the stuff in houses.

Just a thought.

Unfortunately it has ridiculous opening hours, and while we intend to dispose of as much as possible during the day on Saturday and Sunday to keep the problem to a minimum, there is always a lot more left over after the pack down on the Sunday evening, and therein lies the problem, we've coped before and we'll cope again, but anyone who can squeeze a bag of rubbish with them when they leave would help us tremendously and maybe save one trip late at night on a Sunday ;)

Of course, everyone could try not to be fat bastards and not stuff their faces with copious amounts of food, generating silly amounts of wrappings that require binning =P

Same goes for all that booze that gets drunk =P

We could be innovative this time and use the wrappings as sound insulation inside our PC cases!! Yes?

No... :(
