I definitely want to come to LAN but my laptop is crap. Any suggestions to pimp it up or any affordable rigs?

Thanks

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro rev 2 Socket 775, 1156, 1155, 1366, AM2, AM3 Heatpipe CPU Cooler
XFX HD Radeon 6850 (Could get a 6870 for an extra 20-30 pounds)
Seagate 500GB 3.5" SATA-III 6Gb/s Barracuda Hard Drive 7200RPM 16MB Cache
OCZ 30GB Vertex SSD 2.5" SATA-II Read = 210MB/s, Write = 135MB/s

You can indeed! Get one customised, dont buy from like HP, or an alienware..... Build your own, cheaper, and you can build to suit you

I'd say go for a larger SSD, just to make sure there is planety of space (windows 7 can get quite large these days :S bastid bloatware), apart from that, good spec :)
If it bleeds, we can fry it :0D
