Hello all

I'm king_clueless and I'm interested in joining FTD for some competitive gaming and fun times. Despite getting recently engaged I've an understanding gf who, when I\'ve got a nice routine to game to, will leave me be.

I'm quite an active gamer and recently attended the PC Zone fight club live at Gamerbase in London. I was always briefly in RustyInPlaces Clan a million years ago when I played BF2 Infantry Only. I had to leave shortly after being recruited due to a change of job and location.

I love both L4D/2 and TF2. While I've played a lot of games I always return to these classics and would love to play alongside like minded people. I'm quite specialist in TF2 as I only really play Sniper (wishing I could play Spy) but I'm very active and always getting my hand dirty, not one to sit back and wait for one headshot per round. I\ll also always change class on what a team needs rather than letting the game go to poo coz I want to play snipes.

Hehe, I saw that thread running its course. Good to see you got here in the end.

There is always room for the likes of yourself as it sounds like you have got what it takes to fight at our side (i.e. plenty of giblets to spread around the bases. Enemy or our own, either works.)

All being well a session should take place tomorrow (wednesday) night. KF leads the charge on that one so I'll let him take care of things, beat you around the arena a lot, and see how things go from there.

P.S. I am most perturbed by the auth code issue! I wrote that little component and it usually works okay, at least for me anyway... any more info you have about this will be very appreciated.

I too have an understanding wife who understands my gaming, and having a regular schedule gives her some 'her time' to plan activities for herself undisturbed by me.

usually Friday is gaming night and I get left alone. however she knows how much gaming means to me and she kinda finds the community side of things kinda interesting.

I'm in the process myself right now and I feel your pain. To be honest, so far only the National Wedding Show has been a pain in the butt. My advice: Get the champagne down you early, enjoy chatting with all the women you'll meet, and try and build up some biceps before you go. You may need the strength for all the bag carrying.
